Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2024 San Francisco Fleet Week!
There are three ways to volunteer:
Air Show
on The Marina Green
Friday, October 11th – Sunday October 13th
Volunteer Opportunities (as an individual):
Positions are all day from 8:30 - 4:30.
- Marina Green – Entrance Gate Greeter
- Marina Green – Ticket Taker
- Marina Green – Bar Assistant/Runner/Ticket Sales
The EXPO
on The Marina Green
Friday, October 11th – Sunday, October 13th
Volunteer Opportunities (as an individual) as:
- EXPO - Info Booth
- EXPO - Greeter/Guide/Docent
- EXPO - Access Control
Ship Tours
on Pier 30/32
Wednesday, October 11th – Monday, October 13th
Volunteer Opportunities (individual or group) as:
- Line Monitor for Ship Tours
- Special Event Registration
Air Show Merchandise / Concession Fundraising
Get involved in a fundraising opportunity at the 2023 San Francisco Fleet Week celebration and Air Show, October 6th – October 8th
Who
Any groups or organizations wishing to raise funds for charities or clubs and organizations may staff a Merchandise booth at the event. The minimum age requirement for insurance purposes is 16 years old.
What
Merchandise booths will be set up, maintained and our partner AirWare will provide all product and inventory. Merchandise booth staffing requirements are 8 persons per booth and groups must be prepared to staff their booths for all three days of the event. Groups will receive 8% of gross sales after sales tax from their respective merchandise booths. Each Booth will assign a Booth Captain who will receive training in inventory and cash procedures. Opportunities exist to have your organization recognized with your banner hung on the side of the booth and information flyers made available to the patrons. All banners and flyers require prior approval.
Where
San Francisco Fleet Week - Air Show booths at Marina Green and along the Embarcadero.
When
October 6th, 7th and 8th: Friday, October 6th for all three days OR Saturday, October 7th for two days. Daily registration begins at 8:00 am. Booths open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

San Francisco Fleet Week succeeds with the support and participation of volunteers in all aspects of the show’s production. Friendships are built and memories are made during the shared experience of presenting this event to the public. We invite all members of the community 16 years old+ to apply for available positions.
